Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students and part-time jobs. Lennox felt that her skills were inferior to those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other routes she could choose. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began working on her solo first album Diva which was released in 1992. It received lots of praise, both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists were a new-wave band that achieved some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. Then, she was joined by fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992, with the album Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It has covers of some songs, including The No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and the compilation album have a lot of tracks.
